Description: Rosebudd the American Pimp is about the exploits of one of the pimps in the 1999 cult classic documentary “American Pimp” by the Hughes brothers. This book is Rosebudd’s version of how the game of pimping goes. He tells the ins and outs, and the dos and don’ts, of the pimp game, as well as the twenty-seven rules he lived by to become one of the greatest pimps that ever lived. The book covers the choices he had to make in order to go to the highest plateau in that lifestyle.
Rosebudd did all that was in his power to become a legend. His day-to-day activities, mental savvy, and toughness is displayed throughout the book. His book is not a book on how to become a pimp, but rather a book on how not to be a brutal, uncaring person and still receive the rewards of being one of the best pimps there ever was. In this book, Rosebudd has listed the twenty-seven rules to becoming a master at this game. If you pick this book up you will not put it down until it is completed. You must be cautious with this material, because you will be handling pure dope.
What else is there for a top flight PimP to do once he has retired from the Game and left the streets to the younger players? Rosebudd believes that what he spent his life doing was well worth the time he put in. He is dedicated to living according to this rule: “Be good to the Game, and the Game will be good to you.” RoseBudd believed the Game would take care of him in his retiring years, and this book shows the hard times and good times he’s had navigating this square life.
How do you decide to stop living a life of luxury, fast cars, even faster women, money, prestige, and an ability to do what ever it is you want to do? How do you decide? Painstakingly, that’s all Rosebudd can say.
RoseBudd the American Pimp: Part 2, revisits Rosebudd years following his retirement. There were a lot of decisions that had to be made. The first, and most important, decision was to become a single parent. Life after the Game left him with no marketable skills. All he had was his brain and his mouth piece. He talked his way into the soda fountain business. After being a top flight tech, he was promoted the the coveted spot of QMC (Quality Maintenance Check). His leadership capabilites began to fit his new life as a parent in addition to the promotion to supervisor. After 15 years, quit his job still unsatisfied. He started writing again. He wrote with a mission in mind. Twenty-one manuscripts later, he wrote Rosebudd the American Pimp: Part 2.
